Ketan desai who ruled MCI for years and treated it as his own empire was already sacked out by MCI in past and now another blow to him was when he recieved set back of being sacked out of gujarat medical council after too much of opposition from all sides.Gujrat medical council meeting was held and Mr Nitin Vora was elected as new president of Gujrat medical council giving adieu to Mr ketan desai.
Ketan desai tried to save his repute by sending his resignation letter to coucil.Thus the empire of ketan desai in medical council came to a dead end.
General body meeting of gujrat medical council was held in absense of president ketan desai and his absense was marked and criticised by all the members and final decision was made that ketan desai should be removed from medical council and that place should be given to vice president Mr Nitin Vora.According to sources this decision was supported by gujrat government also by backhand as it also brought defamation to gujrat government.Hope this new president works in better manner and tries to manage the responsible post responsibly.
