A tribute to legend Mr B.R.Chopra (who was very well reknowned film maker and Director) who passed away on 5/11/2008 at his residence at 8.15 am in the morning at the age of 95 yrs after chronic illness.He was the same person who was maker of the famous serial" mahabharat" which had broken all the records of TV serials in the world and became very popular with the name" mai samay huu".
There are several other films and serials produced and directed by him but here is the list of most popular among them

Afsana was directed by him in 1951 and had celebrated silver jubilee
Chandni chawk was his first film which he could not complete due to partition and he had to leave lahor of pakistan and came to india.
He was born in ludhiana of punjab in 1914
He started his production company B R Films in 1955.
He was also awarded dada saheb falke award
Thus he was a great legend who had made a great impression in film world after satyajit ray and will be remembered foreever for his great and everlasting contirbution to this world by his films.
