BSNL is to offer desktop PC's at Rs.6500 within short period.

BSNL is to offer  desktop PC at the rate of Rs.6500  within short period and is all prepared with that .MOU has been made with leading Indian companies which will supply  PC with minimum configuration.This PC will have 512 mb ram ,intelletum precessor,mutliple operating system including microsoft windows,linux,solaris .

This PC will not have hard disk and so it will not require any anti-virus software.It has been prepared for using internet and will be the part of package offered by BSNL which will provide broadband facility  at the rate of Rs.300/month excluding taxes .

This PC will have 4 USB ports through which you can connect it with any portable storge device like pendrive or hard disc for storage of data and also you can use it for viewing pictures with the help of   portable DVD driver.

The basic purpose of this device is to make internet feasible to mass bu giving it at low rates and minimising the cost of it by giving the basic requirements in this PC.Hope this PC will help Indian really become netsavvy.
