Pakistan Beats Srilanka in T-20 finals,Afraidi turns out to be hero

In a crucial T-20 match of final between Pakistan and Srilanka.   ,Pakistan beat Srilanka by 8 wickets in hand..Earlier today srilankans won the toss and decided to bat first.At one stage they were 32/4 and then recovered from that shock and made somewhat modest total of 136 in stipulated 20 overs.Paksitan also did not have very good start ,but it was able to manage a win.

Despite the presence  Afridi and Shoaib Malik at the crease runs were stagnant and  the required rate hit eight for the first time at the start of the 13th over.

Pakistan entered the last five overs on 103-2, needing another 36 from 30 balls.

With 19 runs needed from 14 balls, Afraidi  lifted the pressure on the batting side when he hit Udana over midwicket for six and then  again in a  no-ball to the leg-side boundary (bringing up his 50 off 37 balls in the process).

Now seven were  required off the last two overs which turned  one from nine balls with Afridi fit batting.

Time for recreation for pakistan as they won the T-20 world cup and Shahid Afraidi became hero of this match by his allrounder performance  in batting he made 50 notout from 40  balls and bowling 1/20 as extraordinary performance in risky situation .He really deserved the heroism .
