Rath Yatra the Car Festival was celebrated all over India with great enthusiasm.Every year this festival is celebrated in India on Ashadhi bij in memory of the lord shri krishna's Nagar Yatra which he conducted to evaluate the values of people residing in his city of dwarka.In Ahmedabad it was 132nd event which is celebrated every year .
In this event Lord krishna takes the lead and is followed by sister subhadra and then brother balaram which is the last lord to follow this yatra.
People were shouting "Jay ranchod makhan chor" .Over 10 million of people gathered at the site and during afternoon at lord krishna's uncle's house( which is popularly called mosal) people over 1.5 lakh took lunch .In prasad they give sprouted mug and chocolates .There are acrobats which display various types of techniques and over 100 trucks participated in this event which were decorated very efficiently .It is also celebrated with great choas in puri of orrisa in india
