Mundra port issued notice for violation of environment rules.Central environment department issued show cause notice to mundra port and sez ltd for breaking rules over the periphery .A NGO had filed a suit who is protecting the rights of fishermen.
Gujarat periphery authority for sea had also been issued notice for such a violation.The port trust has to give answer within 15 days for the same and also gujarat costal management authority had been issued notice to give answer within 4 weeks.

Mundra port trust has been breking rules in construction of township named samudra and hospital named sterling.
