Past US pilot on world tour with 1944 war air craft.A pilot from America's Nevada state and reno city who had taken part in 2nd world war and is retired from US Airforce has come upto ahmedabad as a part of world tour.He has come to ahmedabad on his 1944 aircraft which he had purchased and which is 67 yrs old.
He is to travel on this historical aircraft all over the world with his "stagerwing"( aircraft).Bill charmy is very enthusiatic about his plight.
Bill charmy has come to India for the first time and before that he started his world tour in april 2009.He has already travelled Newzealand,Ireland,Australia,US,Indonesia,Thailand,Europe,Middle east,North east,North Atlantic and in India he has travelled calcutta,madras and nagpur.

R-985 engine and 450 horse power.
5 sitter with 2000kg weight.
Can travel 165 nautical miles in an hour.
Fuel capacity of 600 litres with 5 fuel tanks.
